MADELINE GARCIA IS AN ARTIST AND EDUCATOR.

I have always loved the little details, and this manifests through archiving, collecting, and making things from smaller components. I have strong feelings for neat handwriting, mail art, old office supplies, making crafts with kids, scanning things, repurposing scraps and trash, and arranging objects in space. 

I spent a decade in the Midwest studying art and education, teaching book arts, and installing artwork. I am now back in Southern California, where I grew up— reacquainting myself with the warm weather and driving with the windows down.
